Pretentious Record Store Guy's Top Five Lists

With apologies to Nick Hornby and his novel High Fidelity, this is the Pretentious Record Store Guy's Top Five Lists.

Really, fuck Nick Hornby for taking the Top Five Lists and trying to make them his with High Fidelity! Who is he to lay claim onto the Top Five List, just because David Letterman already planted his flag on the Top Ten List and today's attention deficit disorder having record employees can't hold a thought past five doesn't mean that some writer can come and take away what is our inherent right! So fuck Nick Hornby for taking my life and trivializing it with his little perfect novel about love and music and heartache and record shops! Just because he laid my life out bare for the world to digest and devour while in bed or on a train or on a lazy, rainy Sunday, doesn't mean that I shouldn't continue to be me and to live my life, comparisons to his novel aside. And yeah, Nick Hornby's High Fidelity does happen to make one of my Top Five lists, but only begrudingly (and because it's awesome)...

Without further ado, Pretentious Record Store Guy's Top Five Lists.
